নবদুর্গা - Navadurga Mantra

Goddess Durga and Navadurga are the same as Adyashakti. Mother Parvati is also a manifestation of Adyashakti.

Navadurga refers to the nine variants of the goddess Durga According to Hindu mythology, they are nine different variants of the goddess Parvati These nine variants are respectively - Shailaputri, Brahmacharani, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandamata, Katayani, Kalratri, Mahagouri and Siddhidatari. Every nine days of Navratri every autumn, one of these nine forms of goddess Durga is worshiped.
