The BCEI app is for reporting mosquitoes that transmit dengue and their breeding sites. In this app you can upload photographs of mosquito insects that transmit viruses such as dengue, Zika and chikungunya, in addition to their breeding places such as containers, containers, vases, tires, among others that have the larval stages of mosquitoes and together with These photographs locate and map them in the city. All this contributes to the knowledge of the distribution of sites where this disease vector is found and thus to be able to take actions for the prevention and control of possible outbreaks of infections with said viruses. This application is a project that involves the University of Antioquia as a validation center with professionals and reception of information that arrives from citizens in order to take actions with the government entities in charge of the public health of citizens. The objective of this tool is to allow, with citizen collaboration, the elaboration of a database for the study of the distribution of the Aedes aegypti mosquito, as well as other important species, making it possible to evaluate data in wide geographic areas. The app is very intuitive and has a data recording section where you can find the options to upload photos of mosquitoes, breeding sites, and you can also see what information other users have shared. It also has a guide section where mosquito life cycle guides are found, an entomological guide to recognize the mosquito and a photographic guide to take into account when taking photographic records. Finally, a section with information where users' scores for uploading information to the application will be found. All this information will be very useful for science! ---- For more information in Email: grupo.bcei@udea.edu.co In social networks Instagram: bcei_udea, Twitter: @BceiUdea,
