This application is an initiative of the Family Agriculture Management and Innovation Center (Cegafi) of the University of Brasília (UnB) in partnership with the Scientific and Technological Enterprises Foundation (Finatec), with support from the International Institute of Education in Brazil (IEB) and the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF). Its main function is to support the collection and management of socio-productive information and monitoring the restoration of native vegetation.
It was based on the Protocol for Monitoring the Recomposition of Native Vegetation in the Federal District (Sousa and Viera, 2017) and on the Technical Note IBRAM 01/2018.
The Partnership Fund for Critical Ecosystems is a joint initiative of the French Development Agency, Conservation International, the European Union, Global Environmental Management, the Government of Japan, and the World Bank. A fundamental goal is to ensure that civil society is involved in biodiversity conservation.
