This App allows you to see the Augmented Reality of Dennis Rudolph's paintings in the exhibition BEHIND THE SCREENS – 50 YEARS OF COMPUTER ART at CODA Museum Apeldoorn from 22 January to 4 June 2023.

Fern aber, dunkel vor dem klaren Ausgang,
stand irgend jemand, dessen Angesicht
nicht zu erkennen war. Er stand und sah,
wie auf dem Streifen eines Wiesenpfades
mit trauervollem Blick der Gott der Botschaft
sich schweigend wandte, der Gestalt zu folgen,
die schon zurückging dieses selben Weges,
den Schritt beschränkt von langen Leichenbändern,
unsicher, sanft und ohne Ungeduld.

The rise of digital art has rendered many of the art market’s laws and rules outdated, and the original of a digital artwork is a sequence of ones and zeros, but is rarely presented in that form. Also, traditional crafts are increasingly being combined with digital technology. All of these hybrid art forms, from plotter drawings, wall hangings and websites to videos, software and murals, are included in the exhibition.

4. Turn up volume to max
5. Scan the paintings
6. Move around to fully experience the AR artwork
