Emergency Alert:
Users will be able to send emergency alert with location information at the touch of a button and get help. Emergency terminals supported include: Road accident, Fire Service, Medical Service and Security Service. The Community alert feature keeps users informed of Security Issues if any around them (3 Km radius) so they can take informed decision. Everyone will also learn to be his brothers’ keeper.
iLocate:
With iLocate feature, users will be able to locate friends and family members. No one can locate you except authorised. Everyone will need to apply your passcode except your registered next of kin. User however need to activate iNav license to see location on Map.
iDog:
Users may enable angry barking iDog and connect bluetooth speaker to scare intruders. The barking dog sound is triggered at irregular time interval until stopped. We advise enabling iDog at night in which mode My Companion is in ready position to receive emergency alerts from the community(3 Km radius).
iManifest:
Transporters can add passengers with Smart Protect to boarding list. This list is associated with the driver’s vehicle in the cloud and can be accessed by relevant authorities by simply entering the vehicle registration number. This is particularly important in emergencies when there is the need to contact a passenger’s next of kin.
Speed Monitor:
With Smart Protect, drivers are warned if over-speeding.
iCaution:
Anything that may pose danger on the road may be posted so road users may be alerted within 500 metres distance. This feature integrates text to speech engine for hands-free operation. To prevent undesirable continuous alerts, iCaution and Safety Status alerts pop up only at the instance of alert and in Drive Mode (Speed above 30Km/hr). iCaution alerts come with road caution signs so users can learn.
iPass:
This feature defines a new way of checking in motorists into organisations premises. It removes need for manual registration of vehicles and use of tallies at security gates. Vehicles are logged automatically with time stamps and details can be queried at any time by security personnel. iPass(electronic gate pass) is automatically generated at the gate and sent to the vehicle owner with which he will check out. Vehicle owners are first required to register their vehicles for free during installation of My Companion application. iPass also provides records for workers attendance where required for calculation of wages.
