The French school would become the school Verdun was created in 1951, 50 years ago, in West Beirut. First Schedule to the girls' high school (high school today Abd-el-Kader), it gained its independence in October 1985. This is still a very large primary school with in September 1991, 1903 students, 676 in 1227 and nursery classes in primary schools.
