Poem reproduces the legend of the first shahah Iran, tales of heroes-heroes, as well as real events and legends associated with the presence in Iran of Alexander the Great.
It is the longest poem from the pen of the author: the amount of two times more than the amount of "Iliad" and "Odyssey" combined.
Hakim Mansour Hassan Abulkasim Ferdowsi Tusi - worked on the poem more than 35 years - from the age of thirty to old age.
