Today, we enter a new era of criminal justice system overhauling colonial time laws.
The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 replaces the IPC 1860; Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 replaces the CrPC 1898 and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023 replaces the Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
The reforms mark a momentous event as India moves towards modern tech and better justice delivery for our citizens, keeping with the spirit of the Constitution.
