CAA Agenda is an app that facilitates the creation and use of visual agendas for some people with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (DSA) and Intellectual Disabilities (DI).
These people have among their strengths "thinking by images": in fact, they better understand the information presented as a visual stimulus.
Visual agendas help people with DSA and DI to understand how a day is articulated and to know what is expected of them, thus reducing the worry that can generate the new and the unexpected. With visual agendas, predictability can be guaranteed, anticipating the various events that will occur (within a day or the whole week) and making the sequence of the various activities "visible".
The use of CAA agenda is designed for family members, teachers, operators who work / interact with children, adolescents and adults with DSA or DI.
The APP also allows you to create Task Analysis to teach complex skills, breaking them down and breaking them down into simpler parts.
The task analysis can be used separately for teaching individual skills during individual treatment / therapy sessions or within the calendar activities.
CAA Agenda can be used in all contexts of life of the person with DSA and DI (at home, at school, in a day center, in therapy, etc.).
