Émanciper Mayotte is an association created in June 2017 by young people for young people whose objective is to promote successes in mobility.
It offers preparation for pupils in the first and final years to go on mobility in the right conditions.
The association intervenes throughout the year in high schools, municipalities, villages and political districts of the city to educate students and parents on the steps for a good preparation for mobility and towards educational success. It also promotes training and integration schemes deployed on the territory to enable the integration of people far from employment.
We also promote young graduates for rapid integration. We post job offers from our partners on our Facebook pages and website.
The association carries out each year during the summer holidays its "mobility forum By Émanciper Mayotte" with a tour in the villages of the island in partnership with local associations to support graduates in their pursuit of studies on the move.
The mobility support project by Émanciper Mayotte was the winner of the Overseas Assizes competition in September 2018. Since July 2018 Émanciper Mayotte has been conducting enhanced mobility preparation training as part of the Mayres Avenir framework. A system which consists in supporting the best graduates of the territory who orient themselves in training towards professions in tension in the territory.
Since November 2019 the association has been carrying out international mobility projects via the Erasmus plus program. The projects allow young Mahorais to participate in youth exchange programs in Mayotte and in the countries of the European Union.
We firmly believe that mobility is a lever for the development of young people and that it is important to prepare these young people to leave in the best conditions so that they can come back with skills and actively participate in the development of the territory.
