Street Watch is an application developed in partnership with Sahab Municipality, ProgressSoft, and Generations For Peace as part of Code For Jordan programme.
Due to the demanding need to street maintenance in Sahab, this app was developed in order capture the streets, locations, and sidewalks that require maintenance. The main idea is to take a photo of the location with a GPS tag in order to send it to the municipality contact. This is in an attempt to support the municipality in prioritizing the maintenance needed in the community. The long-term goal is to ensure streets in Sahab community are safe for people.
Some features would include status of submitted applications, Map and GPS Pin, Auto detect the user location, and Push notifications.
