Geo-Naturpark

The Geo-Naturpark Bergstrasse-Odenwald was recorded in 2015 in the "International Geoscience & Geoparks programs" by UNESCO and therefore bears the distinction "UNESCO Global Geopark". It combines a beautiful landscape, which extends over an area of ​​3500 square kilometers between the UNESCO World Heritage Grube Messel to the north, the Rhine Valley in the west over the Odenwald up to the land in the east and the Neckar valley to the south.
