We are a registered CBO within Kisumu City of Kisumu County. We registered this CBO to be able to use it as a platform to sensitize, educate and create public awareness on the dangers of Sexual and Gender Based Domestic Violence which is a major contributor to the mental health degradation in our families and the society at large and therefore the reason why we resolved to come up with an online APP for mental health care and psychological counseling called THE NEST MENTAL HEALTH CARE.
The Nest Mental Health Care is an online APP created for the purposes of offering affordable and easily accessible online mental health care and psychological counseling services to all people of all walks who are suffering either in silence or in denial. We recognize that times are changing fast enough and that time has come to offer these services to all people of all walks of life so that we can create mentally stable persons, families and the society at large. COVID-19 pandemic therefore has been an eye opener and which is among the other reasons why we have decided to have these services offered online.
We also understand that most mental health patients find it hard to visit mental health care facilities in person for fear of stigmatization and the financial implications involved. It is for this reason that Kisumu Womenest CBO which is a legally registered Community Based Organization, registered in Kisumu made a resolve to come up with an APP that will offer the same services online and at a subsidized rates as well as conceal the identity of our valued patients.
Mental Health of our current society as it is has not been the best and therefore we encourage people to seek these services from the comfort of their offices or work places, homes and houses and even the usual social joints without necessarily going to queue at the facilities.
We have a group of qualified and professional psychological counseling persons who are ready and willing to walk you through the journey of your mental healing and stability. We therefore welcome all people with mental illness to download our APP from play-store, register and then subscribe to get our services. The subscription will last for a month, and within this period of time you can be able to access our mental health care services whenever you need them.
