Ophthalmological Society of Valencia; society almost a century and almost say that in 2017 we will celebrate 100 years. As stated in our founding statutes we are "the association arising from the evolution of the Valencian Section of Ophthalmology Medical Institute was founded in 1917". This section is formed as a need to bring together specialists in eye diseases time to try to end as was endemic trachoma.
