Kantpoll is an e-voting app with a focus on voting secrecy and auditability.
To protect user data, this app works in conjunction with the Orbot app, which enables access to the Tor network. In addition, sensitive information is encrypted before being sent to a Kantpoll server or stored on the device.
Auditability is possible due to the Ethereum blockchain, which allows observers to monitor the counting of votes. Each vote has an unique ring signature to attest its validity.
This app was developed for skeptical voters who believe that governments (parties, etc.) can manipulate election results, and have concerns about their privacy on-line.
