KARE is an app framework designed and developed by Keele School of Pharmacy and Bioengineering to deliver easily accessible dynamic educational experiences to students. KARE is capable of static and dynamic cases, with or without 3D elements and with the capability of presenting the scenario in an engaging augmented reality format where this would enhance the exercise.
Each KARE scenario is a bespoke training or assessment tool tailored to meet the needs of our students and clients.
With the KARE Diabetes Assessment, we worked alongside Swansea University Medical School to develop three diabetes patients as part of an assessment for their MSc in Diabetes Practice. These patients will only be accessible to students on studying towards a MSc in Diabetes Practice at Swansea University.
