How It Works
With this app, users can report crimes happening now in their location, if another user is going to out and searches that location as he’s destination, they will see the report given by the first user about the crime happening now. This report searched by the second user will also include the time in which the first user created it the report be it 1minutes ago, 30minutes ago, 1hour ago etc. along with the report showing time, it will also show two arrows an UP and DOWN the UP arrow allows other user to vote up on the report given by the first user, which means they can confirm the crime really took place, or the DOWN arrow which means the crime report is fake. Also, the amount of times the arrow was clicked to vote the crime report is visible to all users (an example UP 300 , DOWN This way, if the DOWN arrow has more votes by 5 which means the report is fake, the post will get deleted as this app purpose is to save lives and incorrect information will not be accepted.
Location
Users are unable to change their location as the app as to takes the current location of the user to help in sending notifications when a crime is happening around that location, Since a lot of users may forget to update their location manually, this is automatically done.
Map Icons
When a crime is posted, the map icon is Red which means the crime report is recent and after 5hours which signifies the crime is not so recent anymore and it turns Yellow, which is then automatically deleted after a few hours.
