Alhamdulillah, thanks to Allah SWT, finally we PonPon Media have successfully completed the application Kitab Jurumiyah and its explanation. This Kitab Jurumiyah application contains a collection of nahwu material which includes almost the entire core of nahwu science. which contains material about important nahwu science terms such as isim, fi'il and letters.
As the name implies, al-Ajurrumiyyah is indeed a muqaddimah (introduction) book on the science of nahwu written by a linguist from Morocco named Abu Abdillah Sidi Muhammad bin Daud Ash-Shanhaji alias Ibn Ajurrum while in Mecca. This book also needs to be given a more in-depth explanation when a student wants to learn more about nahwu. For that reason, this book was finally given explanations by many scholars, until it reached thirty books of explanation.
These explanations were later made into one book with al-Ajurrumiyyah. In Arabic literature, books that contain an explanation of another book are called syarah books. The basic formulas for classical Arabic lessons are written in rhyming form to make it easier to memorize. In Arab society this book is one of the earliest books to be memorized besides the Qur'an.
Among traditional pesantren, Kitab Matan al-Ajurrumiyyah is a very well-known textbook on the science of nahwu (Arabic grammar). This book is a standard book which is the basis of Arabic lessons. Almost every santri who studies at traditional Islamic boarding schools start learning about Arabic through this book. This book is a standard book which is the basis of Arabic lessons.
In practice in the world of Islamic boarding schools, the book is often referred to by the name Jurumiyyah. The naming is not exactly the same as the original name of the book, because the full title of the book is al-Muqaddimah al-Ajurrumiyyah fi Mabadi 'Ilm al-Arabiyyah.
