The aim of the fire brigade association (FVBB) is to promote and develop the fire service in the cantons of Basel-Landschaft and Basel-Stadt. He strives to provide the members with attractive services. The importance of the fire brigade must be preserved. This is to be achieved in particular through:
a) Close cooperation with the Basellandschaftliche Gebäudeversicherung (BGV) as well as the Rescue Basel-Stadt and the Gebäudeversicherung Basel-Stadt (GVBS).
b) Advice, provision of services and further support for members.
c) Contribution of technical competence in the fields of technology and structures as well as in consultation in the field of fire services.
d) Membership in the Swiss Fire Brigade Association (SFV).
e) Cooperation and maintenance of good relationships with members, authorities and related associations, partners and institutions.
