CheloVechnost - a project for arranging a tourist trail on the territory of the cultural heritage site of regional significance "Landmark" Barsova Gora ".
This project, developed by an initiative group of residents of the town of Barsovo and supported by the administration of the Surgut region, became the winner of the Regional competition for initiative projects in 2021, conducted by the Department of Public and External Relations of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. The main goal of the Humanity project is to popularize the historical and cultural heritage of the Barsovaya Mountain, on the territory of which an unprecedented number of archaeological monuments have been discovered, documenting all stages of anthropogenesis during 9 thousand years from the Stone Age (Neolithic) to the present.
In 15 locations are presented: 7 art objects, three of which are many times enlarged replicas of finds from the early Iron Age, found in the process of scientific archaeological research on the Barsovaya Gora. The use of augmented reality technology in certain locations of the tourist trail will allow visualizing scenes of everyday life: hunting, making ceramic dishes, fishing in the Stone Age, Bronze Age and the Middle Ages in an authentic natural environment.
