About TempoSmart
The TempoSmart™ App collects diabetes-related data that has been captured by the Tempo Smart Button™ and a connected Tempo Blood Glucose Monitor (BGM) or Dexcom Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) System. It also collects the data brought in from your compatible health and wellness applications. The result is personalized diabetes management data that you can view from your smartphone.
The TempoSmart App:
• Brings your diabetes information together in one place*
• Automatically or manually records your blood glucose readings and insulin data and is compatible with the Dexcom CGM System
• Provides you with information you need to have discussions with your healthcare professional‡
• Provides you with diabetes-related education, support options, and reminders
• Is compatible with apps from wearable devices such as Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, and Garmin
The TempoSmart App is a central component of the Tempo™ Personalized Diabetes Management Platform, which also includes a:
• Tempo Pen™ (insulin¶ pen)
• Tempo Smart Button™
• Tempo BGM
Attaching the Tempo Smart Button to your Tempo Pen and pairing to the TempoSmart app allows you to transmit insulin dose-related data via Bluetooth® wireless technology. This data can then be shared to the Tempo Insights™ portal where it can be viewed by your healthcare professional.
The TempoSmart App can be used without a prescribed compatible device, with limited features, for up to 180 days.
Tempo is indicated for people 18 years of age and older only.
*To transfer your insulin dose-related data automatically, the Tempo Smart Button must be connected to the app and be within 9 feet (3 meters) of your Bluetooth® enabled mobile device. You can also enter your insulin dosing information manually.
‡Warning: The Tempo Personalized Diabetes Management Platform is intended to help support the management of your diabetes. You must continue to independently manage your glucose values and your prescribed regimen with support from your healthcare practitioner.
¶The Tempo Platform works with Lilly insulin.

After the most recent update, the Dexcom readings reliably show. I still prefer the inpen app over this one, but it's usable now. To Lily's credit their tech support made regular contact with updates.

Dexcom integration buggy - force Tempo closed to refresh.. Update: Lowered my rating. This is still not fixed. Infact it's gotten worse. Now you must sign out of Dexcom and back in again every time I use the tempo app.

App is always crashing or not working well. It would be nice if we could edit the reason for the automatic insulin entries, sometimes I do medicine to bring my blood sugar down, not because I ate food. I would also like to be able to edit my blood sugar ranges.
