About Identis

Bearing in mind that the region of Vojvodina and Csongrad County have so far not had jointly defined products and services that are jointly promoted and branded, this project creates a new and innovative basis for future joint development and promotion of tourism through the following group of activities: creating digital databases , mobile applications and guides and a multilingual web portal, organizing thematic seminars and workshops for relevant actors on the promotion, branding and use of EU funds, drafting a joint document on tourism strategy development, promoting defined thematic tours and routes at tourism fairs and media, and creating cross-border tourist networks IDENTIS.
The project aims to increase the number of visits to cultural and tourist destinations in the Tisza region, which will lead to an increase in the number of tourists and overnight stays, as well as income in the tourism sector and services. The target groups of the project are: representatives of companies from the tourism industry, representatives of the media and the press, households and accommodation units and local citizens.
The priority is to create a strategic document to define further steps to be taken in joint action. One of the first issues to pay attention to is the lack of common tourism products and routes that will trigger the promotion of this area. The partners agreed on a unique advantage that this region can offer to its residents, but mostly to tourists. The Tisza abounds in natural beauty and represents an exceptional potential for the development of tourism, which enables the overall socio-economic development of the region by involving various participants in the process of product and route promotion. Marketing includes digital and non-digital promotion, as well as the use of Android and IOS platforms.
Within the Identis project, tourist routes have been formed: rural tourism, wellness and spa tourism, active and eco tourism, cultural tourism and industrial heritage.
