The post-pandemic situation we are experiencing has forced us to reinvent ourselves in many aspects of our lives and, consequently, also in our pastoral work with young people. After this period of uncertainty, we want to encourage hope and recover the pastoral paths that we have traced over all these years. With new energy, creativity and audacity, we want to continue accompanying young people in their personal growth and maturing of faith. Campobosco'22 wants to promote our proposal of accompaniment and commitment to a better reality in which young people themselves are protagonists of change.
At the center of our formation plan is Jesus and his Gospel. We will approach Jesus through texts from the Word of God where we discover the faces of young people, we will underline the Christology that inspires Salesian youth spirituality, we will allow ourselves to be confronted by the faith lived by Don Bosco, Mother Mazzarello, and the young people of the first Oratory.
The celebration of the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Institute of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians is an opportunity to give thanks to God for so much gift received and so much good that has been done among young people during this century and a half.
The path of synodality that we travel together with the whole Church inspires us in our service to young people, walking alongside them and stimulating their role in an ecclesial community with a renewed face.
Goals:
# Have an experience of Christian life touring the places where the Salesian charism was born, meeting Jesus through the experience of Christian life lived by Don Bosco, Mother Mazzarello and the young people of the first Oratory.
# Propose the figures of the young saints who flourished in Valdocco and Mornese as inspiration for their own project of evangelical life.
# Live ecclesiality from the youth protagonism and charismatic communion in harmony with the entire Christian community that walks towards the synod
Dare, Trust and Live!
