LONDI-Screening

The LONDI screening is a scientifically based diagnostic program for the early detection of problems in reading, spelling and arithmetic in elementary school. It determines the individual support needs of primary school children and then provides specific support recommendations. It supports the prevention of learning difficulties through faster identification.

The LONDI screening app can be used on tablets and smartphones at school as well as on private devices at home. In both cases, a class code and a student number, which are provided by the teacher, are required for use for each participating child.

The program was developed by Dr. Darius Endlich, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Lenhard, PD Dr. Peter Marx and Prof. Dr. Tobias Richter (2022) at the University of Würzburg as part of the BMBF-funded project LONDI (Head: Prof. Gerd Schulte-Körne from the LMU Munich and Prof. Marcus Hasselhorn from the DIPF/Technical implementation: Meister Cody GmbH).
