Edited Monument is an augmented reality app that allows you to visualize sculptural reliefs intervened by visual artist Andrés Durán. This work is based on reliefs from the history of Chile, such as the Battle of Maipú or the Battle of El Roble.
For the work presented in this app, Andrés Durán scanned sculptural reliefs of public space. Subsequently, these reliefs were intervened by means of digital sculpture, generating fictions from the original reliefs. In this app you can visualize in 3D the final result of these interventions corresponding to the Battle of Maipú and the Battle of El Roble.
The target to activate the app is included in the Monument Edited book: Chile-Peru-Bolivia-Argentina, published in August 2019. The target can also be downloaded from the same application to be printed.
