Curs Valutar

The main objective of this application is to present the exchange rates published by the National Bank of Romania (the source is therefore the website www.bnr.ro) in a simple manner, accessible to all interested parties. As a utility program for Android systems (portrait orientation, requires Android 6 or newer), Curs Valutar runs on tablets and smartphones that are connected to the Internet, regardless of their connection type. The National Bank of Romania is an independent public institution, headquartered in Bucharest. Its main purpose, according to the Statute, is to ensure and maintain price stability. The national currency of Romania is the leu, and its subdivision is the ban.

On startup, the program displays the current exchange rates in lei for a number of 32 major currencies, including the current quote for the gram of gold and DST. For easy access to all these exchange rates, each line in the national currency table contains, along with the ISO code and name of the respective currency, the flag of that country.

Three simple commands are available for each currency:
- Double tap: bringing the respective coin to the beginning of the table (the new order will be memorized)
- Long tap: opening a currency converter for that currency
- Zoom out: graphic display of course evolution for the last 10 days
