PUROVSKY Broadcasting Company "Ray" first appeared in the television broadcast Dec. 18, 1989, becoming the "pioneer" of local television services in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District.
March 8, 1996 on the air resounded first radio call sign "Ray."
In September 2005, TV became one of the first municipal companies in the Russian Federation, began broadcasting their programs via Satellite.
In record time TV "Ray" was able to combine into a single information space of all Pur district, from Sumburgh to Polar Halyasaveya taiga. The transition to the new format of satellite broadcasting has enhanced the quality of the ether, and made it possible to simultaneously receive all the inhabitants of the district. Audience SEC "Ray" has more than 50,000 viewers and listeners.
The structure of the broadcasting company has three branches in the towns Urengoy Khanymey, purpe bureau and two national settlements and Sumburgh Halyasavey, radio studio. The staff let the air about twenty projects of various kinds.
