Deplastify’s goal is to increase the user’s awareness about how much plastic waste they are making and give them a tool to track and see improvement in how much plastic waste they are making. In addition to the user tracking their own waste, all users of the app will be sending anonymous data (waste count in pounds) to a server. This data would be collected and then scientists, environmentalists, or anyone else can see the data and do their own study with it. It will be helping users to track their own waste and help them with studies done across the world
