The Association for the Future of Indigenous People and Their Original Knowledge (A.D.A.C.O) finds its essence in the rites and beliefs of the peoples of Gabon. The foundation of ADACO comes from the ancient sources of Original Knowledge of these peoples.
In other words, it is organized around traditional rites, and the customs and traditions that found and structure the life of man in particular and that of Gabonese society in general.
Indeed, the traditional rites, the habits and customs of the peoples of Gabon such as the Mwiri, the Bodi, the Djobi, Niembe etc ..., represent not only the base of the social organization but also the vision of the world of these peoples in which are born the values of peace, respect, and human dignity. Thus, the foundation and structuring of ADACO were born from this vision of the world which advocates the conservation, transmission, enhancement and promotion of the cultural heritage of indigenous communities in Gabon.
The Founder of ADACO, Mr. Boris IBELA is a Gabonese who was inspired by the sources of the secular Original Knowledge of the natives to stimulate a movement whose main objective is the promotion of the diversity of cultural expressions of the indigenous communities of Gabon. .
By creating a social network dedicated to discussion and multifaceted exchanges relating to the enhancement of the tradition of indigenous peoples, the Founder of ADACO laid the foundations or the first stones for the building of a group of people who have had to organize and structure itself to create an association, non-profit and apolitical, specifically dedicated to the socioeconomic development of the indigenous people, favoring a global approach that integrates the partnership between the public sector, the private sector, local authorities (administration local and indigenous peoples) and civil society.
