This course aims to enable the student to understand texts of all kinds, such as formal and informal letters, electronic messages, articles and advertisements. Where the student will be able to understand the main and subsidiary ideas of the text in order to be able to answer the different questions of the text. The student will become familiar with many terms that will help them understand modern topics such as technology, social media sites, and topics related to the student's personal and professional life. The student will also be able to write letters and articles expressing his opinion on a particular subject, giving advice or recounting certain events. He will be familiar with the logical and temporal conjunctions and the different expressions of opinion and agreement or opposition in order to be able to use them in his writing.
