While sharing is active, a persistent notification stays visible for full transparency, and you can pause or stop at any time. Create safe-zone (geofence) alerts, optionally turn on location history, preview places with street-level imagery, and open nearby places in your maps app for quick directions.
Live location you control (consent-based)
✔ Share your live GPS with trusted contacts after both sides approve.
✔ See approved friends or family on a real-time map when sharing is on.
✔ A persistent notice confirms sharing is active. No hidden or stealth tracking.
Safe-zone alerts (geofences)
✔ Add places like Home, School, or Work and receive enter/exit alerts.
✔ To keep alerts and live updates working when the app isn’t open, the app may use background location; this is optional and can be turned off in Settings at any time.
Location history (optional)
✔ If enabled, review recent routes and timestamps to look back when needed.
✔ Choose a retention period, or clear history manually whenever you prefer.
