The Iglesia Cristiana Evangélica la Esperanza was founded in 1962 in the midst of great persecution and opposition from the community, the missionaries Carlos Renquer and David Bellt along with their family settled in Ureña to found the first congregation of the Pedro María municipality. Many Pastors who consolidated the one that today is called the Civil Association Iglesia Cristiana Evangélica la Esperanza, always with the only vision of spreading the gospel everywhere, the project of creating digital radio was born to facilitate contact with more people radio that bears the name la Voice of Hope
