An-Nazi’at (Arabic: النازعات - Pulling) is the seventy-ninth sura of the Quran. Meccan Sura. Consists of 46 verses.
The Sura begins with the oath that the resurrection is inevitable and will be accomplished according to the will of Allah. Then it comes to Musa (Moses) and Pharaoh. Sura reminds a person of his deeds and shows what kind of retribution will be to the wicked wicked and who have transgressed the limits of what is permitted. The sura concludes with questions from polytheists about the time of the resurrection day.
