No additional software or setup is required, only a device with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) support. Wi-Fi or mobile data is not required.
The app acts as a user-friendly keyboard and touchpad that can be used with your existing computer, tablet, smart TV, smart phone, or other applicable Bluetooth-enabled device.
The touchpad supports scrolling using a sidebar. The scroll speed and scroll direction can be customized. The touchpad also includes a left, right, and middle mouse button. The touchpad can display a trace of the users movement on the touchpad in order to support actions such as writing signatures or drawing with the touchpad.
The keyboard is a full-featured keyboard with function keys, arrow keys, and more. A system keyboard can be used instead of the app's custom keyboard. The app also supports sending large amounts of text using a text input field, and handling long-press actions on keyboard keys.
The app supports creating shortcut keys that can send up to six different keyboard keys simultaneously. For example, a user can create a shortcut key that sends the ctrl, alt, and delete keys at the same time.
In addition to the default keyboard and mouse layout, the app supports creating and using custom layouts. With custom layouts, users can create their own smart TV remote, presentation remote, game controller, or other type of Bluetooth interface.
A touchpad, mouse button, or custom button item can be added to a custom layout. A custom layout can support adding hundreds of items. There are a plethora of background and foreground colors to choose from when creating items. Each item can be assigned a unique location and size within a layout.
Custom buttons can be programmed to send a string of text, send a combination of keys (defined by a shortcut key), link to another layout, or perform hundreds of available functions. Functions include changing the display brightness on a device, adjusting the volume of a device, turning a device on or off, controlling media playback on a device, launching installed applications, and much more.
