[Announcement of SME Policy Fund Loan Plan for 2022]
○ Summary
- A total of 5.1 trillion won of SME policy funds are loaned to SMEs with excellent technology and business potential at long-term (5-10 years) and low interest rates (1.85-2.65%) compared to commercial banks
- For each growth stage, KRW 2.3 trillion in the start-up period, KRW 2.14 trillion in the growth period, and KRW 620 billion in the re-jumping period are operated, and 63.2% (3.2 trillion KRW*) is supplied to the digital, green, regionally balanced New Deal sector to support the Korean version of the New Deal.

○ Purpose: To promote the growth of SMEs by supplying long-term, low-interest funds to SMEs with excellent technology and business potential in need of policy support
○ Budget size and application targets: Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in accordance with Article 2 of the Framework Act on Small and Medium Enterprises with a budget of KRW 5.6 trillion
○ Loan limit and interest rate
- Maximum Loan Limit: Within 6 billion won per company by adding up the balance of the mid-vacuum policy fund loan and the expected new loan amount
- Loan interest rate: Increase or decrease according to the type of fund, credit risk rating, type of collateral, and preferential conditions in the ｢Policy Fund Base Rate (Quarterly Change)｣
