The app uses an on device algorithm to detect fluctuations and changes in ambient noise level after you click the start button.
The app works normally online as well as offline as no audio is uploaded to any server for analysis, or post processing of any kind whatsoever.
Usage Directions -
IMPORTANT: Put the phone ringer on silent or vibrate mode and then start. The phone Operating System privacy policy prohibits 3rd Party apps like this one to accept microphone input in the background. Hence app will stop functioning once you push it in the background.
