Soong Meiling was born in Wenchang, Hainan, in March 1897. She went to the United States for education when she was a child and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in the United States.
He returned to Shanghai in 1917 and married Chiang Kai-shek at the end of 1927. After Chiang Kai-shek's death in 1975, Song Meiling left Taiwan to go to the United States and lived in New York for a long time.
