Tim Berresheim's picture journey - the augmented reality cycle route through the Heinsberger Land Welcome to the Heinsberger Land, where the landscape is wide and the horizon is infinite. Here, in the westernmost corner of Germany, nature and culture meet, connected by a more than 550 km of well-developed cycle path network with a junction system. Tim Berresheim's journey through pictures is integrated into this intuitively navigable route network and is up to 90 km long. There is a choice of a scenic circular route as well as its division into a west (approx. 51 km) and an east loop (approx. 45 km). Here, the historical surroundings merge with concise contemporary art, which was created using the latest technology - in a way that has never been seen before. “TB - Bildreise AR” extends reality by at least 17 augmented reality experiences at locations selected by Tim Berresheim. Along the route there are many computer-animated works by the digitally working artist to discover and walk through. If you follow the route and enter the blue-colored radius of an augmented reality object, the app shows which work of art is nearby. The object is activated by tapping on the hint. If you touch the button with a rabbit's paw and a brush, you can take photos or make short films that can be saved directly on the device. The tutorial video with John Lemon offers even more information about the possibilities for using this app. It also explains how you can gain your first augmented reality experience - even without being on site. The app's route map, together with a free pocket guide, helps you find your way around the bike (the online version can be found on heinsberger-land. de) and signposted signposts along the individual sections: Tim Berresheim, his Studios New America and the whole of Heinsberger Land wish you a lot of fun cycling and discovering the hidden works of the pictorial journey.
