For the 100th birthday of Theben AG, the artist Tim Berresheim and the board of directors have come up with something special. He programmed an augmented reality application for employees, business partners and everyone interested in digitally created art and built in some gimmicks that will certainly lift the mood in the anniversary year. New 3D mascots, like Abu Simbel, have emerged and are brought to life as follows:
1. Download the app to your smartphone or tablet.
2. Open the app.
OPTION A
3. Press the button for target recognition (A) and use it to open the augmented reality camera.
4. Hold the camera (A) on the sides of the beer mat and find out what happens.
VARIANT B
3. Press the button for ground detection (B) and use it to open the other augmented reality camera.
4. Hold the camera (B) on a smooth surface and give it a moment to recognize it.
5. Then carefully press the screen with your fingers, place Abu Simbel on the surface and let yourself be surprised.
