InteGrid

This application is part of the home energy management system developed under the European InteGrid project. It allows home users to set their preferences regarding the use of appliances and other loads. It provides the best possible scheduling for the next day (or for the next few hours) considering differentiated energy prices and the existence of local renewable energy. The application interacts with a specific home management system where the optimization algorithms are ran to let the user know when appliances and other household loads should be activated. The integrated solution accommodates different preferences from users and quickly determine optimal new schedules.
