"NieR: Automata" is an M-level action-adventure game jointly developed by Square Enix and PlatinumGames. It is the sequel to "NieR: Pretender" and "NieR: Complete Form". The story takes place in the same world as the previous work, and a brand new storyline is re-established, which has almost no connection with the first generation [6] , and the plot is related to "Dragon Rider 3" [7-8].

The Demo of this work landed on the North American and European markets (on the PS4 platform) on December 22, 2016. The full version was released in Japan on February 23, 2017.
