The MyMind app contains everything you need to get in shape both mentally and physically, while also providing a good theoretical foundation for people who work with people. Here you can learn mindfulness, follow the meditation program, get in shape with exercise & yoga, find peace with meditative soundscapes, learn new ways of thinking through philosophical discussions, follow new lessons and courses every week, learn techniques for good sleep and start a psychological journey to get to the bottom of the driving forces behind stress, conflicts, unrest, depression and other psychological discomfort. It must be humorous, personal, playful and professionally sound. And the idea is that you have a mental health studio available in your pocket.
The MyMind app has been developed by psychologist specialist Sondre Risholm Liverød in collaboration with colleagues at the mental health clinic, Sørlandet Hospital, department Solvang.
We have our day-to-day work at the psychiatric outpatient clinic and treat most forms of mental disorders with various therapeutic methods.
Our basic and interdisciplinary treatment philosophy is, in short, that change requires effort in several areas at the same time.
We need to work on our mental patterns, discover thought traps, become aware of our interpersonal strategies and become better acquainted with reactions and emotions. There are examples of the psychological aspects of self-development, but growth also requires a focus on diet, sleep, exercise, stress management, social interaction and belonging. It can also be an advantage to learn yoga and mindfulness. All of this is central to our offer at DPS Solvang.
Much of what we do every day in the department can be digitised, and this app has become our digital home.
