At We Craft Apps, if you have a green mind, you don't necessarily have a very green thumb. We did try to plant a few trees for the planet, in the kitchen or on our windowsills, but we must admit that it was not a great success.
Suddenly, we wondered how we could contribute effectively, intelligently and above all useful to the planet and its inhabitants. After reflection, the field of action was reduced to the city of Nantes and the people of Nantes; it seemed more realistic to us.
In the 4 million visitors who visit the Jardin des Plantes in Nantes each year, 100% of the We Craft Apps team are included. Some take their other half there for a romantic stroll, others go there to read a book in the orangery or to have a coffee on the restaurant terrace, some to unwind after a drunken evening ...
One thing is certain, it is a unique place dear to all members of the team, and to all Nantes residents.
And on closer inspection, we noticed that something was missing that was useful for the park and its visitors.
Something we could do for them, and right on our doorstep: a mobile application dedicated to the Jardin des Plantes.
In this application, we provide you with a detailed plan of the Jardin des Plantes, with a geolocation of the rarest plants, exceptional trees, various greenhouses and all the activities and amenities of the park (monuments, reception, restaurant, merry-go-round , aviary, toilets…).
You can also learn about the nature of the flora, fauna and artistic heritage by creating detailed files for each geolocated element.
