It is located south of the province, nestled in a valley in the foothills of the Sierra de Tentudía. This is a typical small town of just over 1,000 inhabitants, surrounded by olive trees and oaks. In fact it is within the existing trees biggest forest in Spain that spans the provinces of Badajoz, Huelva and Seville.
