Segura de León sits on two hills, about 700m. height above sea level forming in his flat the main square. Among its red-roofed white houses, the silhouettes of stone castle, the parish church of Fatima. Located southwest of Badajoz, Segura de León administratively belongs to the region of Tentudía and the judicial district of Fregenal de la Sierra, whose capital is Badajoz, Extremadura. The current population is settled in the middle of a triangle formed by Bodonal de la Sierra, Cabeza la Vaca and Fuentes de León.
