An app for outdoor events, initially designed for marathons and trekking, but any outdoor event venue will fit (cycling, races, festivals, etc.). The app hosts event based Organizations/Clubs that have content to share.

The app is about finding and exploring outdoor events by World Map (filtered pins), Cue Cards (arranged in different ways and with data and pictures) and by Calendar. The events can be separated by Organization/Clubs so that you find the type of activity you want and in the geographical areas of interest.
Dig deeper into an event by moving to an Event Base Map (optionally with GPS track if provided by the Organization/Club). Then have some fun exploring the event on the ground by simulating a run/walk, ride or drive along the track (when a track is provided) or fly over the area using Satellite maps for a birds-eye view.

Why do I need the Outdoor Event App?

2. Access to event information, news and updates on the go via mobile (before, during & after). News to All users or just by Event you are registered to.
3. Event maps (online and offline) with tracks and basic GPS navigation. Plus walk, run, cycle or drive and even fly through the course using Open Street or Satellite maps.
4. ‘Send my location’ feature for Organization check-in stations, to friends or for emergency help.
5. Shop (register for events or buy stuff) from your phone.
6. User Login to Profile Data (public & private settings) or anonymous use.
7. Interact with others via Community, Event participant forum, chat & share. (No exchange of personal data needed to connect with Event participants). This feature is coming soon.
