The group of flag-wavers of the city of Narni was born in 1980 in the Terziere Fraporta, one of the districts into which the city of Narni is divided during the patron saint's day called "Corsa all'anello"
The help offered by the Sansepolcro flag-waving group was very important. In fact, in 1989 the flag-wavers of Fraporta took 9th place overall in the Italian championships, while the musicians took 4th place. In 1997, the group split from the Fraporta district and achieved its own independence by starting to tour the world: there is no continent where they have not performed.
