With the 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app, you can order your blood glucose measuring strips quickly and easily as an AOK PLUS insured person. We want to make your everyday life easier and save you time and unnecessary trips. AOK PLUS bears all costs for the blood sugar test strips for you.
FUNCTIONS AT A GLANCE
The 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app is aimed at AOK PLUS policyholders who are chronically ill with diabetes and require insulin and therefore have to measure their blood sugar regularly to check their blood sugar level and determine the amount of insulin. By using the 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app, you have easier access to blood glucose test strips. You can easily order these for your home using the app. A prescription from your doctor is no longer necessary. In the app you can select the blood glucose test strips from the participating suppliers. AOK PLUS bears the costs for the blood sugar test strips.

Download and register the 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app.
You are not yet a member of the online portal "Meine AOK PLUS"?
Then download the Meine AOK app and register directly. To protect your data, you have the option of using the video identification procedure; alternatively, you will receive an activation code by post. After receipt and input, you can use all functions directly.
Are you already a member of the "Meine AOK PLUS" online portal?
Then download the Meine AOK app and log in with your username and password for the online portal "Meine AOK PLUS".
After entering your login data, you can immediately use all functions provided you meet the following requirements.
PRE-CONDITION
• Operating systems
Android (compatible from 8.0)
You can take part in special care via the 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app if you:
a) are insured with AOK PLUS,
b) are at least 18 years old,
c) are registered in the online portal "Meine AOK PLUS",
d) have been diagnosed with diabetes type 1 or 2 and have been supplied with insulin and blood sugar test strips so far,
e) have submitted your declaration of participation and consent by pressing the 'Accept' button in the 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app. In doing so, you undertake to only purchase your blood glucose test strips in this way. If you also redeem medical prescriptions via blood sugar test strips, AOK PLUS can block the purchase via the 'AOK DiabeTest PLUS' app.
