In the “Are you fit for your child” app, you should imagine being pregnant for 10 days. Every day you will be asked different questions in the areas of 1) my lifestyle factors, 2) the development of my child and 3) my attitude towards alcohol. These questions relate to the almost 10 months of pregnancy.
The aim of the app is that you question your behavior and your attitudes: How healthy would I behave during pregnancy; what do I know about the influence of alcohol consumption on the development of the growing child; which situations during pregnancy can lead to alcohol consumption and how would I behave in such situations?
The results of the prevention app are ANONYMOUS, i.e. WITHOUT being traced back to you, on the database of the German FASD KOMPETENZZENTRUM Bayern project in order to evaluate how often the app is used and with what result. This serves to continuously improve the app and is intended to provide information about the effectiveness of the app as a possible component of an innovative prevention strategy.
We would be delighted if you tried the "Are you fit for your child" app and thus made an important contribution to setting a new impetus for the prevention of alcohol in pregnancy!
We hope you enjoy using the app. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact the German FASD COMPETENCE CENTER BAYERN directly at fasd@med.uni-muenchen.de.
