With the app you can easily scan the EAN codes of any food and check whether insects or additives have been processed in it. "Insect Checker" does not require a connection to the Internet and can therefore also be used where there is currently no reception. If "Insect Checker" does not yet know the product, you can simply analyze the ingredients.
The app is very easy to use and test results are easy to read.
In the settings you have the option of selecting which insects or additives should be checked for. "Insect Checker" currently supports all EU-approved and pending insects, such as house crickets, scale insects, migratory locusts and many more!
Thanks to the flexible product database, which contains millions of products, you are always up to date and can easily download updates. Users also have the option of creating and customizing products themselves. After editorial review, these products can be downloaded by any user and integrated into the product database.
You can still examine products that "Insect Checker" does not yet know. The app analyzes the content information on the product using a created or selected image.
